I highly recommend Dr Nodwell and the Ottawa Clinic. I had an extended tummy tuck with lipo in May 2022 and the results have been amazing. I have even had compliments from other medical professionals I dealt with about the quality of his work and I couldn't be more please. Dr Nodwell listened to my goals, clearly answered all my questions, was very clear in helping me understand what my results would be and did not try to upsell me on unnecessary procedures. Emily, his assistant, is also just as outstanding along with all the staff at the Ottawa Clinic.

I chose Dr. Nodwell as my reduction surgeon after a lot of research and I'm so happy with my decision. He and his team were professional, friendly, informative, and just made the overall experience as easy as possible. They made themselves available to answer every one of my questions and put all of my anxieties at ease. I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr Nodwell in Jan 2019. I could not be happier with my experience!! Dr Nodwell has a wonderful beside manner and answered all my questions directly but in a caring manner. His team is very friendly and answered my emails quickly, getting in touch with anyone was never an issue. I always felt comfortable and informed, even day-of jitters were soothed by his calm yet upbeat personality. My surgery was smooth, everything was a very positive experience from my intake at the hospital to my post-op care. I tell everyone that asks to go see Dr. Nodwell! I wouldn't have changed a thing!

I had a great experience with Dr Nodwell and all of his staff. Dr Nodwell was very professional and down to earth from the beginning to the end. He explained every step of my breast reduction surgery to me and what to expect. He was always open to any questions I had. Any interactions I had with his office were always meet with the greatest of care, especially from Emily, who was always such a pleasure to deal with. She was the best! I was very impressed with the care I received with Dr. Nodwell and all of his people.

This adventure started with doing a lot research for a (very busy, travelling) friend. Based on his Reviews and Ratings, I suggested Dr. Nodwell for the work she wanted done, set up her Consultation and she is now his patient. In the meantime, I went to a doctor with a solid reputation for abdominoplasties (which I needed). Feeling a little disappointed with my (expensive) results, I turned to Dr. Nodwell. What I really wanted was to get rid of the leftover "saddle bags" which then appeared more prominant. First of all, the location was great for me, with parking and a takeout coffee spot ! The waiting room, nicely appointed, allows for quiet conversation. During the Consultation he reviewed my Medical History, asking questions and taking notes. He then listened patiently to my 'story' and did an examination. After discussing things with me, he presented options; compartmentalizing the work, methods that could be used, pros & cons and corresponding costs. He did not push for a decision, instead, he asked me to go home and really consider everything, calling his office with any questions. I did. I opted to "finish" the abdominoplasty + liposuction to reduce my flabby hips. Prior to the Surgery, there were appointments at the Queensway Carleton Hospital and with Dr. Nodwell - who gave me pre- and post-op natural supplements to reduce scarring ! The day arrived. Dr. Nodwell saw me before and after Surgery, explaining that everything went very well. I was discharged the same day and, because of all the preparatory help, I was ready for recovery. I received follow-up calls from both the Hospital and the Doctor's office a few hours after the Surgery and the next day. His office called again about 5 days later, and I went for my first post surgery appointment 5 days after that. At my last visit, the results were declared better than expected (my pre-existing internal scarring) by all concerned. Currently, I have one more week with the 'wraparound' full-time and start going without it after that. I am THRILLED with results already !Dr. Nodwell, himself, is highly professional, easygoing, reassuring, extremely understanding and has a sense of humour ! He is very well represented by Melissa who handled all my calls/emails promptly and personably. She always ensured my concerns were addressed and never rushed me ! This Clinic of professionals is lucky to partner with him and his Staff. I have already recommended them enthusiastically. I almost hope I have more work to be done myself!

I’m not a new client/patient of this clinic, but felt inspired to write this review today because it’s been a bit over a year since my last surgical procedure with Dr. Nodwell and my final results of my breast augmentation are fantastic! I’ve had 2 breast augmentations done by him and each time I’ve seen him whether it was for the many consultations, the actual surgery itself, or the post-op appointments his bedside manners, patience, and skills have been 10/10. Dr. Nodwell and his staff have always made me feel valued and welcomed as a patient. Emily, his Patient Care Coordinator has always answered my calls and emails promptly and is the true definition of professional. Such a warm and lovely human. I was privileged to have Dr. Nodwell remove my implants this summer. I was not having them replaced; a decision that was mine, and unwavering. This as the case, I did not feel pressured in any way (to make a different decision), nor less valued as a patient. Dr. Nodwell took ample time explaining the risk(s) of my procedure, answering my questions and setting realistic expectations for what the outcome may be. Well what can I say about Dr. Nodwell. He was lovely from the very first meeting, took my concerns very seriously and fixed things for me. His attention to the measurements on my breasts impressed me so much too. He really cares. His staff at his office are all so nice and the staff at the Queensway Carleton on the day of my surgery was wonderful too. I am so glad I finally got this done for me and no one else and very grateful to Dr. Nodwell for his excellent care.

Dr Nodwell is the best of the best! I had an extended abdominoplasty after losing a large amount of weight and I couldn’t be happier. Dr Nodwell is extremely informative, understanding and has the most amazing bed side manner. You can tell he’s passionate about what he does and truly cares for his patients. Dr. Nodwell performed liposcution of my upper and lower abdominals, bra roll, banana roll and inner and outer thighs. My surgery was performed under general anaesthesia at the Carleton Place Hospital. I couldn't be happier with the kindness, knowledge, and sensitivity shown by Dr. Nodwell, all the Carleton Place OR and after care staff and all the support staff and the Ottawa Clinic. Although I am only two weeks into my healing, I am already seeing results. I am confident that I will have the results that years of exercise couldn't achieve. I imagine that I will trust Dr. Nodwell with any of my future aesthetic needs.

I had full body liposuction (waist, inner and outer thighs, tummy, buttocks, back and bra roll) in December 2016. The initial recovery was long, but not overly painful. Dr. Nodwell was upfront about the swelling I would expect and that it would take up to year to see the final results. I am over the two year mark now and I have never felt so confident in my own skin. I had always been physically active but I had gained weight due to poor life choices (too much alcohol) and hormonal changes. Sincer recovery from surgery, I have quit drinking alcohol and I am back to doing the physical activities I love. I have no regrets getting surgery and it has allowed me to make more positive changes in my life in order to keep the results.

I have to say I’ve never been so happy in my life thanks to dr Nodwell he finally made my dreams come true !My whole life I felt deformed due to severe breast assmetry and I finally brought this to my doctors attention she then referred me to Dr. Nodwell advising he was the best for assemetry in ottawa so I went in for my consultation and sure enough he was my surgeon I was very impressed By his bedside manner I felt comfortable and confident after my consultation ! My 32ddds never seemed crazy huge, but the sag caused me rashes that had me scratch so badly I’d bleed. Decided to check with a PS to see what could be done. Found Dr. Nodwell on Google reviews and this site. Liked him immediately.Hadn’t planned on leaving a review, but this site was so helpful to me, figured I’d pay it forward.We did a small reduction, lift with axillary liposuction, and I’m really thrilled with the result.Dr. Nodwell was a pro, made me feel comfortable they the process and did great work. His assistant Emily was gracious with all my questions and quick to respond.This pic is 2 weeks post recovery...obviously, some healing to go and a proper after picture is a couple of months away, but almost no bruising left and the girls are back in their rightful place. I’m looking like I’ll settle in at a 32d. I’m 50, 5’7 and about 140 pounds.First few days were sore from the lipo, and that’s still a bit tender but otherwise, just a bit tired. Ready to get back to work and light cardio!Would recommend the procedure and Dr. Nodwell and his team in a heartbeat.Looking forward to shopping for tank tops and bathing suits!

Dr. Nodwell is one of the nicest and caring Plastic Surgeons that you could ever ask for. He has been my Botox and Juvederm Filler injector for years now. I started seeing Dr. Nodwell around 4 years ago, for baby botox. He listened to what I was looking to achieve - a natural refreshed look - and took the time to walk me through what would work best for me, the process, and he made me feel extremely comfortable. I have always been incredibly happy with my botox results!Then, in 2019 we did a second consult for an abdominoplasty! I have two children, was “all belly” and my former 21” waist was stretched beyond natural repair. I am petite and athletic, but the harder I worked out, the worse my abdomen would look which was incredibly frustrating. I had already grown to know and trust Dr. Nodwell through my botox appointments, which really helped me make the decision to finally proceed with my abdominoplasty after 15 years of dreaming about it. I also had him remove a bony growth on my forehead while I was under.Long story short, my only regret is not proceeding with the abdominoplasty sooner, I am absolutely thrilled with my results, and Dr. Nodwell and his staff were a dream through it all.

Had a gynemocastia due to extreme diabling pain. Right from the start, he was honest, very clear in explaining everything to me. Put me right at ease. It really is only about your health with him. Very knowledgeable and professional. I am only one week post op: I will let you know final results, but so far, everything looks good, no major issues, healing as predicted. Doc has great staff too - they are attentive and quick to respond, especially Emily, who I found very sincere and caring! Definitely recommend Dr Nodwell.
