Procedures - Ear Pinning (Otoplasty)

Prominent ears are usually apparent in childhood and, without
surgical correction, will last an individuals lifetime. Many people
with prominent ears are troubled by their appearance and
can be the recipients of unwanted attention.

Otoplasty uses small incisions behind the ear to access the
necessary tissues in order reduce prominence and improve
shape and contour.

When performed prior to eighteen years of age, this procedure
is covered under OHIP.
