Procedures - Arm Lift
(Brachioplasty)

Brachioplasty is useful for those individuals who notice
loose hanging skin along their arm between the elbow
and underarm (axilla). This may be the result of weight
loss from diet or exercise but may also be the result
of the aging process.

Excess skin and fat are removed and the remaining
skin is re-draped to tighten and smooth the contour
of the upper arm. The procedure may be combined
with liposuction to improve the overall result. The incision
varies from within the axilla (for limited procedures) to
along the inside of the arm from the elbow to the axilla.
These incisions are usually well concealed along the
inside of the arm and are not visible with the arms at
rest beside the body.
